GRB Studios Inks Sales for Untold Stories of the E.R. & More

GRB Studios has secured multiple deals for its top-performing factual-entertainment programs, with two new territories picking up the GRB-produced Untold Stories of the E.R., which is now in 127 countries.

A large volume deal for LatAm with Pluto TV includes the real-life medical drama series Untold Stories of the E.R.; nature programs Full Force NatureAnatomy of DisasterAnimals Are People TooExtreme Contact and Storm Warning; action programs Fugitivos de la LeyHigh Seas Rescue and Now See This; and Impact TV, a half-hour variety program featuring peculiar stories from around the world.

In Germany, ProSieben renewed three seasons of true-crime series Wicked Attraction and licensed the sixth season for the first time, while Discovery Germany acquired Untold Stories of the E.R., marking the first time the program is airing in the country.

AETN acquired season nine of the true-crime investigative series On the Case for the U.K., while OSN in the Middle East acquired six hours of Top Travel and MNET took three docuseries for Africa: For Peete’s SakeMind Your Business and The Book of John Grey.

Discovery, Pluto TV pick up GRB factual

Discovery, German broadcaster ProSieben and ViacomCBS’s AVoD platform Pluto TV have all acquired a number of factual titles from US-based producer and distributor GRB Studios.

In Germany, ProSieben renewed three seasons of true romantic crime series Wicked Attraction and licensed season six, while Discovery Germany acquired Untold Stories of the ER, marking the first time the medical docudrama will air in the country.

A+E Networks UK has picked up season nine of true crime investigation series On the Case, while Middle Eastern channel OSN has bagged six hours of Top Travel, showcasing luxurious international travel.

African pay TV operator MNet has acquired three docuseries, For Peete’s Sake, Mind Your Business and The Book of John Grey.

Meanwhile, Pluto TV has taken more than 225 hours of Spanish-language content.

Its new shows include Full Force Nature, Anatomy of Disaster, Animals Are People Too, Extreme Contact and Storm Warning; action programmes Fugitivos de la Ley, High Seas Rescue and Now See This; Untold Stories of the ER; and half-hour variety show Impact TV, featuring peculiar stories from around the world.

GRB Studios takes premium factual entertainment to global audiences

The LATAM arm of the leading AVOD provider  has acquired a variety of Spanish-language shows. Nature programmes include; Full Force Nature; Anatomy of Disaster, Animals Are People Too,Extreme Contact, and Storm Warning. Action programs include: Fugitivos de la Ley; High Seas Rescue and Now See This; real medical drama series Untold Stories of the ER as well as Impact Tv a half hour variety program, featuring peculiar stories from around the world.

Deals were also recently completed in Germany, with ProSieben and Discovery, as well as with broadcaster OSN in the Middle East. ProSieben renewed three seasons of true romantic crime series, Wicked Attraction, and licensed S6 for the first time while Discovery Germany acquired Untold Stories of the E.R, marking the first time the program airs in the country. AETN UK took new titles while a deal was finalised with MNET in Africa. Two territories bought the GRB-produced, real-life medical drama series Untold Stories of the ER marking 127 countries that the hit programme has been broadcast in.
