Highly regarded for her expertise in global sales, acquisitions and development, Sarah has 15 years of executive-level distribution experience at international media companies. She is SVP, International for GRB Studios, in charge of global co-productions, sales and acquisitions.
Previously, Sarah was GM, Americas for Inverleigh, managing one of the world’s most prestigious sports and lifestyle content catalogues. Prior to that, Sarah was the Head of Sales & Coproductions, Americas for ZEE, managing 210,000 TV hours, 3,500 films and a formats catalog. She speaks 5 languages.
Sarah is also the co-creator of Love at First Bite, aired on Discovery. She has co-developed formats with US & Italian producers.
She has contributed management skills in consultancy roles, furthering clients’ agendas to sell original content. She has worked with local and global teams, supervising 12 people in 5 countries and managing multi-million dollar budgets.
Sarah was EVP Global Sales for Newzulu, a content start-up. Before that, she created a format sales and acquisitions department for MEG, launching 20 formats.
Prior to MEG, Sarah headed 2 departments at Zodiak: Format Sales & Acquisitions. She supervised acquisitions from 34 production companies. She managed the sales team and handled formats and films, including The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
Sarah oversaw European sales at Distraction, the first distributor to specialize in formats. She licensed franchises to European nets and picked up formats for acquisition, setting sales records.
A dynamic communicator, Sarah has shared her expertise as a panelist/lecturer at NATPE, DISCOP, Rose d’Or and EBU. She has been a judge for International Emmy’s since 2016.
Constant contact with channels and producers has given her knowledge on best practices and emerging trends. She has a valuable network of clients.
In addition, Sarah is a sommelier, a blogger and food/wine expert, creating a Slow Food Festival in London.
