The ceremony, which honours the best in online video content and its’ creators, will take place at the iconic Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles in October. Bad night is about a couple of high school students Kate (Lauren Luthringshausen) and Abby (Jenn McAllister), who decides to have a little adventure during their school field trip to have the time of their lives. However, they end up getting into the wrong car and are mistaken for famous art thieves and their fun night out quickly goes from good to bad.
“GRB Entertainment is honoured to be recognized for Bad Night,” said Gary R. Benz, CEO of GRB Entertainment. “It was such a pleasure to work with Lauren and Jenn and we are so thrilled that our first digital influencer film is receiving the recognition it deserves.”
The Feature category is new to the Streamy Awards this year. Jenn McAllister is also nominated for Best Actress in her YouTube Red series “Foursome,” which is also nominated for Best Ensemble Cast. GRB joined the world of digital influencer films in 2015 when they acquired the international sales rights for Camp Takota starring Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart, and Mamrie Hart. The series is also nominated for Best Action or Sci-Fi Series.
