Broadcasters in the Caribbean, Poland, German-speaking Europe and Estonia have picked up crime series from US distributor GRB Entertainment.
Digicel in the Caribbean has acquired three shows: Exposed, which uncovers the truth behind crimes committed against celebrities; On the Case, looking at murder mysteries through interviews with those closest to the case; and Wicked Attraction, which delves into the minds of murderous men and the women who love them.
WP1 in Poland, Sixx in Germany and Kanal 2 of Estonia have also picked up Wicked Attraction.
Gang World was sold to both Polsat in Poland and to N-TV in German-speaking Europe. The two-hour documentary special looks at the origins and evolution of the most violent and dangerous gangs in the US, including Mara Salvatrucha (aka MS-13), Hell’s Angels and its rival the Mongol Nation.
N-TV has also acquired Inside American Hate, a doc series covering the most dangerous organisations founded on hate and racism. One episode of the programme, American Nazis, looks at the National Socialist Movement, the largest neo-Nazi organisation in the US.
