GRB Entertainment announced deals for several popular factual titles to ETV Africa, TV4 Sweden, and MNET Africa, including music-based docu-series Braxton Family Values and Tamar & Vince, both produced for WeTV.
ETV Africa picked up two music-based factual docu-series. Grammy-winning artist Toni Braxton and her family open their doors in Atlanta for a dramatic inside look into their chaotic lives in ‘Braxton Family Values’.
ETV also acquired two seasons of spin-off series ‘Tamar & Vince’, following rising music superstar Tamar Braxton, sister to Toni, and her music-mogul husband as Tamar’s #1 Billboard hit ‘Love and War’ brings the power couple to new heights.
New music series ‘This is Hot 97′, produced for VH1, was acquired by MNET Africa. The series goes behind-the-scenes of New York’s #1 radio station with guests Kanye West, Macklemore, Rick Ross, Wale, and many more.
TV4 Sweden acquired the newest season of ‘The Wildlife Docs’, produced for ABC, an amazing nature adventure with 12,000 exotic animals and the men and women who care for them – the untold stories of the animal ER.
TV4 also picked up three seasons of the long-running series ‘Untold Stories of the ER’, which showcases doctors and heart-stopping, dramatic cases of people in life and death situations.
“GRB Entertainment is pleased to continue with our global distribution momentum, closing deals in Africa and Sweden. We are thrilled that MNET, ETV and TV4 Sweden believe in our content and are confident they will have great success with these top-rated programmes,” said Mike Lolato, SVP, International Distribution, GRB Entertainment.
