GRB Entertainment Brings Food and Family to Africa

GRB Entertainment announced deals for family-focused docu-series and lifestyle programs with Star Times and Azam TV for Tanzania, Uganda, and several other African countries.

Star Times acquired five seasons of My First Home which follows first time homebuyers through the process of searching for their first property, where “must-haves” and budgets don’t always meet. They also picked up Recipe Rehab, from the creator of The Biggest Loser. In a world of fast food and fast living, two chefs are challenged to remake a family’s favorite meal by transforming their calorie-packed delights into tasty and healthy alternatives. The family then judges each meal based on preparation and flavor.

Azam TV picked up three seasons of Tamar & Vince which follows rising musical superstar Tamar Braxton and her music-mogul husband, Vince Herbert, as they balance their careers with their personal lives as newlyweds. Join this power couple as they launch their first hit song, Love and War, while hustling to line up fame and fortune.

“GRB is known around the world for its catalogue of lifestyle programming, especially in the food and family space. These are great programs for the entire family,” said Michael Lolato, SVP of International Distribution, GRB Entertainment.
