GRB Entertainment Gives MBC a Ride MBC Acquires Three Top Automotive Series

GRB Entertainment announced programming deals for three of its highly rated automotive series. MBC acquired the full series of West Coast Customs, 3 seasons of Car Crazy, and Classic Gear for MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa.

West Coast Customs: Famed car customizer Ryan Friedlinghas and his crew at West Coast Customs bring audiences amazing car builds from renderings to reality.  The crew customizes cars for moguls like Sir Richard Branson, Jonathan Davis of Korn, Rascal Flatts, Justin Bieber, and many more.  Each episode highlights technical aspects of the build, taking common vehicles from ordinary to extraordinary. Produced for Discovery Velocity and Fox Sports.

To ultimate “car guy” Barry Meguiar, cars are not just a hobby, but an obsession. As one of the longest running car series on television, Car Crazy explores the world of the car enthusiast and delves under the hood of some of the most amazing vehicles ever made. Produced for Speed and Discovery Velocity.

Classic Gear takes a modern look at some of the world’s most valuable and rare classic cars, presenting them in a fresh, funky, and up-to-date way. The series features famous cars like James Bond’s original ride, the Aston Martin DB5, as well as the Ferrari Dino, Jaguar E Type, and 1926 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost and more. Produced for ITV UK.

“GRB Entertainment represents many genres of programming, with a particularly strong focus on male-skewing shows. We are pleased to bring MBC three of our top automotive programs that will appeal to the passionate car enthusiasts in their audience. These shows have done well in many parts of the world and are sure to bring success to MBC,” said Mike Lolato, SVP of International Distribution, GRB Entertainment.
