Who Are We
GRB Entertainment is a trendsetter of unscripted alternative programming with a proven track record of highly-rated programming for networks worldwide. In 2009, Intervention, our groundbreaking series on addiction and recovery (100 episodes), received the Emmy Award from the Television Academy of Arts & Sciences for Outstanding Reality Program.
GRB is also in production on Is It Possible, the new Discovery Channel series that explores the most incredibly strange, unbelievably true, visually captivating stories from around the globe.
Other recent GRB productions include Alter-Eco with Adrian Grenier for Planet Green; the Emmy-nominated series We Mean Business for A&E; The Secret Life of a Soccer Mom for TLC; Super Swank for Travel Channel; and Your Place or Mine, a family game show for TLC.
GRB first made its mark with male-skewing action programming. These shows have included Next Action Star, a competition series and TV movie produced with Joel Silver, for NBC; Cannonball Run: Race Across America, for USA; The Ultimate Stuntman for ABC; Medal of Honor for TNT; Wild World of Spike for Spike; Extreme Contact for Animal Planet; Hollywood’s Greatest Stunts for Discovery; and AXN: Action TV for Columbia TriStar.
GRB factual productions include Bone Detectives for Discovery Channel; True Caribbean Pirates for the History Channel; Untold Stories of the ER for TLC; Full Force Nature for the Weather Channel; and Expeditions to the Edge for Nat Geo.
As the brand expanded, GRB developed and produced a strong slate of female-appeal series, including Princes of Malibu for Fox, Growing Up Gotti for A&E, Designer to the Stars for WE, The Agency for VH1, Beauty Shop Secrets for CMT, Tuckerville for TLC, Flight Attendant School for Travel Channel, and Reconcilable Differences for Discovery Health Channel.
Celebrating its 22nd successful year as a producer and distributor, GRB’s programs are aired in primetime in more than 190 countries by the largest broadcasters in the world, including ITV and Channel 4 (U.K.), Canal+ and TF1 (France), Global and Life Network (Canada), RTL and ProSieben (Germany), Fuji-TV and TBS (Japan), Nine Network and Foxtel (Australia) and Televisa (Mexico).
