GRB lifestyle content goes globa

U.S.-based producer and distributor GRB Entertainment has sold several lifestyle focused programs to broadcasters worldwide.

In Africa, Ignition (One Africa Television) has picked up two shows, including Arabia Motors, which follows the owners of the most popular car magazine in the Middle East as they grow their global empire. South African broadcaster ETV, meanwhile, has taken Logo’s Secret Guide, which helps make life easier, from creating last-minute gourmet meals to refining personal styles, and more.

In the Middle East and North African territories, Discovery will air Hayden Quinn. The series features MasterChef Australia contestant Hayden Quinn as he leaves his native soil for a culinary adventure through South Africa. He delves into the culture and cooks up the best local and sustainable cuisine the country has to offer.

Elsewhere, Australian and New Zealand broadcaster Foxtel has added six seasons of BBQ Pitmasters to its slate. Initially produced for Discovery, the culinary show explores the world of competition barbecuing where chefs go head-to-head to earn money and take home the title of the nation’s best pitmaster.

Finally, My Channel in the UK and Uganda bought five seasons of My First Home, which follows first-time home buyers through the challenges of searching for their first property.
