GRB Studios Snaps Up New OWN Reality Shows

GRB Studios has acquired three dramatic reality shows from OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, securing the global rights (excluding the U.S.) to the programs.

Among the series GRB picked up isĀ To Have and to Hold: Charlotte, which tackles the real challenges couples faceā€”from troubled finances to potential separationsā€”following five affluent couples from North Carolina. Thereā€™s also the Atlanta-setĀ Ready to Love, a series that features the dating interactions of sexy, successful men and women in their 30s and 40s looking for an authentic relationship, highlighting the menā€™s observations and experiences.

Rounding out the recent OWN acquisitions isĀ Love and Marriage, which centers around the lives of the three high-powered couples behind the real estate venture The Comeback Group as they work to revitalize the city of Huntsville, Alabama. Longtime friends and avid socialites, each are facing the realities of dealing with love and marriage while trying to make a success out of this huge undertaking.

Sarah Coursey, GRB Studiosā€™ senior VP of international, said: ā€œGRB is known for its diversity, in both programming content and non-scripted genres. We are thrilled to acquire three fantastic, gripping reality shows from OWN and will be taking the programs around the globe. These shows provide an intimate look at modern life and we are confident that audiences around the world will relate to their challenges and successes.ā€ https://worldscreen.com/grb-studios-snaps-new-shows/
