Husband and wife duo Brendan & Danelle Murray have been running a NPO called “Owl Rescue Centre” based in Hartebeesport Dam in the Northwest Province for the last 15 years that aims to look after the well-being of South Africa’s wild owl population. Among thousands of successful owl rescues, the couple also rescue and rehabilitate other wild animals including porcupines, peacocks, cats, otters, and many more as the list seems to be growing by the day.
