New York-based streaming operator FilmRise has acquired paranormal series Death Walker with Nick Groff for its branded AVoD services, YouTube and free ad-supported streaming TV channels.
The deal was sealed by US reality and documentary producer and distributor GRB Studios, which has also secured other sales ahead of next week’s MipTV in Cannes.
Canada’s CTV Life Channel has picked up the third season of 48×30’ home decoration series Living by Design, produced by Cleo TV, while Australian pay TV operator Foxtel has snapped up seasons one and two of rock documentary series Music’s Greatest Mysteries (28×30’).
Finally, Outdoor Entertainment Network has bought three shows for its pan-regional channels in Asia Pacific. They are celebrity-fronted travelogue series Down to Earth with Zac Efron, car racing docuseries Jet Truck, and Showdown of the Unbeatables, which sees entrepreneurs compete in a battle of inventions.

Death Walker featuring Nick Groff (40×60’) a person that walks among the dead. Nick Groff investigates the origin of some of the most notorious hauntings in America.
In Canada, CTV Life Channel took home decoration series Living by Design Season 3. A Cleo TV original production, Living By Design (48×30’ and 1×60’), features brother and sister duo Jake and Jazz Smollett transforming living, work, and play spaces from drab to fab. Whether it’s a new mom decorating a nursery on a tight budget, a fierce woman sprucing up her home office, or a couple moving into their first home, Jake and Jazz will turn houses into homes.
GRB Studios has inked deals for a variety of series with Foxtel, FilmRise, CTV Life Channel and Outdoor Entertainment Network in territories around the world.
For Australia and New Zealand, Foxtel picked up seasons one and two of Music’s Greatest Mysteries, which explores topics that have altered the music world and highlights the people who have changed the course of music history.
FilmRise licensed Death Walker featuring Nick Groff in the U.S. and premiered it on its branded AVOD services, FAST and YouTube channels. The series sees Groff investigate the origin of some of the most notorious hauntings in the U.S.
