Streaming firm FilmRise takes a stroll with supernatural series Death Walker

New York-based streaming operator FilmRise has acquired paranormal series Death Walker with Nick Groff for its branded AVoD services, YouTube and free ad-supported streaming TV channels.

The deal was sealed by US reality and documentary producer and distributor GRB Studios, which has also secured other sales ahead of next week’s MipTV in Cannes.

Canada’s CTV Life Channel has picked up the third season of 48×30’ home decoration series Living by Design, produced by Cleo TV, while Australian pay TV operator Foxtel has snapped up seasons one and two of rock documentary series Music’s Greatest Mysteries (28×30’).

Finally, Outdoor Entertainment Network has bought three shows for its pan-regional channels in Asia Pacific. They are celebrity-fronted travelogue series Down to Earth with Zac Efron, car racing docuseries Jet Truck, and Showdown of the Unbeatables, which sees entrepreneurs compete in a battle of inventions.
